Marveglo Plus, a leading distributor company in Nigeria has partnered with the Korean Ginseng Corp to invest over one million dollars in the country’s health sector to help improve the health of Nigerians and increase their life expectancy.

 

This was made known to journalists during a media briefing held by the organisation in Lagos.

“We have invested over $1million dollars so far in Nigeria’s health sector,” said Lekan Oyegbade, chairman, Marveglo Plus.

 

“The Korean red ginseng we are set to launch will help increase the life expectancy of Nigerians,” Oyegbade said.

Marveglo Plus and Korean Ginseng Corp have also partnered to launch Korean red ginseng food supplement in Nigeria.

According to them, the product will help improve the health of Nigerians especially in a period of economic downturn where quality of life is expected to drop.

“In recession, the quality of life drops and that is why we have chosen to come at this time so that we can help improve the health of Nigerians,” said Tommy Kim, external director, Marveglo Nigeria and United Kingdom.

Also speaking to journalist at the press briefing, Sang Min Lee, researcher, Korean Ginseng Corp said “Our red ginseng product have been proven in other countries so we are expecting the testimonial of the product here in Nigeria.”

“We have a product that is actually working and that alone will separate us from other competitors in the Nigeria health sector,” Lee said.

He stated that ginseng is a traditional medicine that has numerous health benefits such as; helping to boost the immune system and recovery from fatigue. It also helps in anti-aging, ameliorate blood vessels, improve female menstrual cycle and increase human memory.

The researcher noted that the World Health Organisation (WHO) has accepted that ginseng is safe for use and consumption.

According to the organisations, the product will be made affordable to all Nigerians irrespective of their income or class. “The product is targeting all range of people from children to adults,” said Oyegbade, who was earlier quoted.

The company hopes to also launch the products in other countries on the continent in the nearest future.
