The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has disclosed that over 7.8 million Permanent Voters Card (PVC) are yet to be collected since the 2015 general elections.

This comes as the Commission  announced on Monday that Continuous Voters Registration will commence by next month, ahead of the 2019 general election.

INEC Chairman, Mahmoud Yakubu, stated this Monday at a maiden quarterly consultative meeting with the media in Abuja.

Specifically, Yakubu told journalists that the electoral body would conduct 1,560 elections in 2019.

Recall that INEC had declared that the 2019 Presidential and National Assembly elections would hold on February 16, 2019.
