The Federal Government has donated 100,000 doses of Contagious Bovine Pleuro-Pneumonia (CBPP) vaccine to Jigawa State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Abdullahi Haruna, the Director of Veterinary Services in the ministry, made this known in Dutse on Tuesday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Haruna said that the vaccine would be distributed to all the 27 Local Government Areas of the state for use in the ongoing annual animal vaccination in the state.
The director, who commended the Federal Government for the gesture, said that it would go a long way to ensure full coverage of the targeted animals in the exercise.
He pledged that the vaccine would be used in a judicious way.

The Jigawa Government is currently vaccinating over 501,000 animals across the state during the 2017 exercise.
