Aisha Abubakar,the Minister of state for Industry,Trade and Investment, has called on Association of Business Development Professional in Nigeria(ABDPN) to support the federal government’s on going Micro Small and Medium Enterprise,(MSME) clinic which focuses on delivering business support services to players in the sub-sector.
The Minister of state  made the disclosure on Friday in Abuja when the members of the association paid her a courtesy visit.
She noted that the federal government is willing to partner with professional organisations who would collaborate with the government especially now it is working assiduously to address ease of doing business concerns.
She,further called on the members ‎ensure their business support services extend supports to MSMES  to ensure they are well guided before they register their business and professionalise it to ensure they contribute their quota to the economy.
She also called on them to ensure that their strategy for Business support  services extend to the rural areas to ensure that those operating businesses get easier access to business development professionals in respect to addressing their challenges.
In his own submission,Franklyn Akinlosoye the President of the group assured the Minister of state that the Business Professionals are always ready to contribute to the development ‎of the MSME sub sector and to the growth of the economy.
He however requested from the Minister to recommend the group to benefit from the GEM institutional grant,which would enable the organisation advance it’s business support services. 
Earlier in her remarks,the Minister of state also urged business professionals to participate in the federal government’s MSME clinic,which focuses on giving business support services to the MSME operators.
