Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, is expected in Lagos, today, to commissioning three war ships belonging to the Nigerian Navy, in a bid to position the Navy for greater efficiency.

The event holding at the Naval Dockyard, Victoria Island, will see the president accompanied by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State.

The ships to be commissioned include NNS Karaduwa, NNS Unity and TUG Commander Uwgu. Two of the war boats, according to the sources, were built at the Naval Dockyard by the Naval engineers while one was acquired from outside the country.
