Heineken Lokpobiri,the Minister of state for Agriculture and Rural Development has on Thursday said that  the Federal Government has reconciled the N65billion outstanding debt owed agro- dealers in the past administration’s programme of Growth Enhancement Scheme,(GES) which would enable them reach out to more farmers on improved high quality seeds.

Heineken also informed that President Mohammadu Buhari has given a directive for the outstanding payment to be effected immediately  once the reconciliation is confirmed by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The Minister gave the information at the 2016 Seed Fair Organised by National Agricultural Seeds Council(NASC), in Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.
