The office of the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), has formally filed gratification charges against Justice Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High Court in Abuja, and his wife, Olabowale, who is the Head of Service of Lagos State.
In a 15 count charge filed before an High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in suit number, FCT/CR/21/2016, against the couple accused them of “corruptly” receiving a total sum of N248,101,300 and $520,000 as gratifications from law firms and others between 2013 an 2016.
Justices Sylvester and Okoro of the Supreme Court including Ademola of the Abuja Federal High Court were arrested by the operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) recently on allegations of corruption.
