The Young African Chief Executives Officers (CEOs) will on September 24 and 25, 2016, compete for honour at the 6th edition of the Young CEO’s Business Summit (YCBS), in Dusseldorf, Germany.
The YCBS event, which has WHU Business School, Germany, as its partner, seeks to empower and redefine business collaborations between Africa and the rest of the world and is opened to applicants (CEOs) whose business has a potential to compete on the global stage, or requires funding for expansion.
According to a press statement, these CEOs are individuals who focus more on creating value for all of their stakeholders and then fulfill deeper organisational purpose (giving back to society and making it better than they met it).
The summit provides applied-learning experience, new business innovation knowledge sharing opportunities with young dynamic CEO’s from other parts of the World. It will feature prominent German and European investors, serial entrepreneurs, including Department for International Business Services, Germany, AHP Capital, wealth management and investment etc.
Speakers at the two-day summit includes: co-founders of YCBF, David James Egwu, who is a United Nation (UN) Youth Ambassador and Rex Idaminabo. Others are: Professor Serden Ozcan, chairperson, Innovation at WHU BS and former founding director, Entrepreneurship platform, Copenhagen Business School; Sophie Bennett, managing director, Wealth Network Limited; founder, lead mentor, Billionaire Author Academy, UK; Annett KLerks, head, Dept for International Business Services; Justina Mutale, MD/CEO, Positive Runway, UK; Lars Hunches, Angel Investor and managing partner, AHP Capital; Saschal L. Schmidt, Business Economics, WHU BS; Sunday Ogidigbo, executive ditector, HRelief ; and several others.

It states that the YCBS is designed for pioneering CEOs, next-generation, and emerging global business leaders who aspire to conduct their businesses in tandem with global best practices.
The summit is expected to have 100 young African CEOs in attendance and only shortlisted candidate will be contacted to attend the summit.
