An American-based agro – allied firm, DUOL Company Limited, has appointed the Cy Chambers of Commerce, as its official representative in Nigeria.

With this appointment , Alliyu said that his company had been given the sole right to market and install DUOL Company three types of Agrodome in Nigeria.

Agrodome is a storage facility for different crops such as maize, oranges, banana, guava, cocoa, yams, millet, mango, okro, beans, rice, among others.

According to Alliyu, the Agrodome will quicken Nigeria’s efforts at achieving food sufficiency and security.

He said that it would boost the Federal Government’s plan to diversify the economy and create job opportunities through agriculture.

Alliyu said that apart from the Federal Government, States and Local Governments, would benefit from this food preservation technology, as it would employ scores of educated and non-educated citizens.

“After the storage of the Nigerian produce for six months, our Greater Philadelphia Import-Export Company will process them into finished products for sale in Nigeria and export to Europe, America, Asia.

“This will bring billions of dollars back to Nigeria to replace the dwindling oil revenue, which has been the only major source of revenue to Nigeria.

“Europe, Asia, and America did the same thing to arrive where they are today,” he added.
