Wragby Business Solutions and Technologies (WBST), a Microsoft Cloud Platform Partner Award Winner has announced the appointment of  Oluyomi  Alarape as  Executive Director,  to kick start the company’s mission of pursuing technological development in Nigeria.

The company made this announcement at a press conference last Tuesday 26th of July, 2016, stating that Alarepe would assume office immediately.

Speaking on the new development, Remi Adegboyega, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said that as a forward thinking company and pioneer of transformational technological innovations in Nigeria, WBST recognises the industry experience, relationship and one-of-a-kind leadership qualities Oluyomi possess.

 He expressed great delight that “Wragby as a company is poised to make a difference and Oluyomi joining our growing management team, will also be an opportunity to contribute to national development.”

Alarape brings to the company over 20 years of Information Technology ( IT) experience in services, sales, business development, marketing and operations.

He is a graduate of Electrical Engineering, MBA from the University of Liverpool and currently completing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at the University of Liverpool, UK. Prior to his appointment Oluyomi Alarape worked for Microsoft for 9 years and was the first Business Group Director (Cloud & Enterprise) Microsoft Nigeria.

Speaking on his intensions to drive the mission of the company, Alarape said; “We will continue to focus on cloud and take it to the next level, we are also going to be looking more around productivity in terms of opening way for inventing productivity for our customers across all the industries, therefore we will be inventing more of technologies making productivity efficient, tapping into the opportunity in the cloud.”

According to Wale Oyenuga, non- Executive Director at Wragby, the vision of this is to export technologies to West African countries and other West African countries making the world better place through technology, making an impact in the technology market.

The company says it is set to empower the Nigerian youth by creating jobs, providing best in class technology solutions and getting them to embrace innovation and also control costs to enable them prosper.
