Nigeria naira fell 2 percent against the dollar in early trade on the interbank market on Friday on thin dollar volumes, data from Thomson Reuters showed.

The naira slipped to 298.50 per dollar at 0843 GMT, trading a total volume of $360,000. It closed at 292.40 to the dollar on Thursday, when it also hit an all-time low of 330.50 in off-market trades.
