Army kill two suspects, rescues three in Rivers

Troops of Two Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Port Harcourt have killed two suspects in Rivers State, southern Nigeria.

The Deputy Director of Public Relations in the Brigade, Captain Eli Lazarus, disclosed this while briefing reporters on the feat.

He said the Army personnel also recovered assorted arms and ammunition from the suspects during a routine patrol operation in Afam community, Tai Local Government Area of the state.

Captain Lazarus said that the troops rescued three victims from their abductors in Isokpo community, Isiokpo Local Government Area in the oil rich state.
