AGROFOOD exhibition to play host to 20 French firms

A delegation of about 20 French firms will be showcasing its goods and service in the forthcoming AGROFOOD Trade Exhibition taking place in Lagos between April 26 and 29. This was disclosed in a statement in Lagos by Promosalons Nigeria, official representative of Promosalons France.

According to Akin Akinbola, managing director/CEO, Promosalons Nigeria, Cameroon and Gabon, Promosalons will also be organising a delegation of Nigerian businesses to a similar exhibition called SPACE 2016 in Rennes, France.

“SPACE 2016 is part of this trade mission and coming at the right time, when considering the current crises in Nigeria between the farmers and the herdsmen in different parts of the country. This is an avenue where various methods and techniques are available for animal feeds and productions.

“SPACE 2016 is the one-stop trade show where innovations and technologies can be explored and discovered in the improvement of livestock production and rearing,” Akinbola said in the statement.

Sectors that will be represented during the AGROFOOD Trade Exhibition include agriculture and livestock, food, beverage and packaging technology.

Some of the 20 companies from France include ICS, Otech Brands, Triskalia, Bakery Eurogerm, ERCA, HTG Industry, and SOCAPS, among others.

Promosalons Nigeria will also have a stand at the French Pavilion to assistant prospective visitors in pre-registering for SPACE 2016. The company will also be providing details concerning the event in France.

“This is a great opportunity for Nigerian companies in this industry to secure business partnerships with visiting French companies, as participants will be able to build relationships and contacts with a view to increasing their international trade.
