C-Ceramica limited, one of the leading tiles and bathroom solutions providers in Nigeria has introduce after sales service to its clients as a measure to improve its clients’ technical understanding of its range of products.

As part of its operational commitments to its clients to keep them abreast with new technologies in tiles, doors and fittings, C-Ceramica in collaboration with its partners such as VitrA, Creavit, Dierre, Franke, Seranit, and Serra have resolved to take up periodic explanations of the technical details of their various products to their clients.

“Building material industry in Nigeria is not doing well. Most of the clients and engineers don’t know the technical details, so my idea was to bring the manufacturers of our products so that they can do some presentations and teach our clients the technical details of their products. And we plan to do more presentations in the future,” said Obai Al-Nabwani, Sales & Marketing Manager, C-Ceramica limited when it hosted the  Lagos State chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Architects recently.

Commending the company for its significant contributions to the building and ceramic industry in Nigeria, Ladipo Lewis, chairman, Nigerian Institute of Architects, Lagos State chapter said “the event is quite significant to us architects because it was quite informative; we have acquired enough information about the manufacturing of the specialized products that they have here. And I believe that all the architects that have been here today have learnt quite a lot.”

Speaking on the affordability of the products in Nigeria, the chairman said that everybody wants good products but affordability of the products becomes a stumbling block to achieving it. “So when we have such infrastructure in place, then we will see that these products can be manufacture here and they will become cheaper and then we would stamp out the importation of these products,” he further stated.

“We need to face the fact that the pricing is an issue and affordability is an issue for Nigerians. And that is why we have a lot of fake products in the market. Basically, I think for them to survive in Nigeria they need infrastructure in place and that will make it competitive with what is imported,” he commented.
