Unified Payments Services limited, one of the leading providers of bankcard payment processing services and value-added solutions has doled out various gift items to users of PayAttitude who wonin the ongoing promo scheme.

Among the beneficiaries is Abisola Audifferen, hospital manager who won deep freezer and Garba Bawa who dimpled hone with a generator set. Other winners include Eke Daniel Uche and Anderson Edemah.

The winners attested to seamless perations of the payment channel and its consistency over the period of usage.

Speaking at the official presentation of gift items in Lagos, Titi Olubiyi, group head, business development and Country manager, PayAttitude, explained that the objective of the promo is to increase adoption, stimulate usage as well as avail the consumer the opportunity to experience the solution.

To qualify for the promo, a customer is required to spend a minimum of N6,000 every month, carry out a minimum of two transactions every month.
She said there is nothing like network challenges with PayAttitude, which is prevalent in some Point of Sale operations, adding that the technology behind PayAttitude is where the world is currently gravitating.

According to her, PayAttitude is a global firm, but brought to the country by a consortium of banks and licensed by Central Bank of Nigeria in year 2013.

She said the scheme is innovative as one can pay and withdraw money from the merchants, as well as Automated Teller Machines that have compatible solutions.

Obehi Ebhomielen, head of department, PayAttitude, noted that “Those POS terminals that you see with PayAttitude logo are not just ordinary ones.
They are NFC enabled POS and the moment you spend or add money through it, it has the capability to immediately reflect new balance. It is that smart to know exactly the transaction you have done and these are the unique propositions of PayAttitude”.

Speaking further, he said, “as long as customers transfer money to their e-purse, all transactions done, with the fund being adequate, will be successful, because the value sits on the tag. So the PoS does not need to speak to any third party to confirm the value, but speaks directly to the tag and authorize payment, as well as write the new balance in the tag also.”
