It also announced its 6th South West Investment Summit and Advancement Awards 2026, one of Nigeria’s foremost investment and economic development platforms, to hold on Friday, 4th September 4, 2026, at Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.,

The summit, it stated, is organised in partnership with the Bank of Industry (BOI), and will convene an impressive gathering of government officials, policymakers, investors, development finance institutions, captains of industry, business executives, entrepreneurs, diplomats, development partners, traditional rulers, youth leaders, and members of the international business community to discuss practical strategies for accelerating investment, industrialisation, innovation, enterprise development, and sustainable economic growth across South West Nigeria.

Kingsley Tolulope Agboola, co-convener, said that the summit was designed to serve as a catalyst for economic transformation by bringing together decision-makers and stakeholders committed to building a more prosperous and investment-friendly South West.

“The South West remains one of Africa’s most vibrant economic regions with immense potential for investment, innovation, enterprise, and industrial growth. Through this summit, we aim to create meaningful conversations, strategic partnerships, and actionable solutions that will unlock new opportunities for businesses, empower young entrepreneurs, attract local and foreign investments, and contribute significantly to Nigeria’s economic development,” Agboola said.

He further noted that the South West Advancement Awards would recognise and celebrate distinguished Nigerians whose exceptional leadership, integrity, innovation, and service continue to inspire national development and promote excellence across various sectors.

The organising committee has extended invitations to serving governors, ministers, heads of federal agencies, lawmakers, development finance institutions, corporate executives, traditional rulers, diplomatic representatives, international organisations, investors, entrepreneurs, and youth leaders to participate in this landmark event.
