Happy Woman, Mayden MfB partner to bridge equipment gap, empower women entrepreneurs

Happy Woman Solutions Limited, recently partnered with Mayden Microfinance Bank, to launch the Happy Woman Match Fund, a financing initiative designed to help women entrepreneurs acquire business equipment needed to expand their enterprises and increase earning potential.

The initiative is aimed at addressing limited access to productive equipment due to financial constraints, considered as one of the biggest challenges confronting women-owned businesses.

“Economic empowerment begins with creating access to opportunities that enable women to build sustainable businesses,” Kunle Erinle, CEO, Happy Woman Solutions, stated at the official launch of the Fund.

Erinle described the launch of the Happy Woman Match Fund as a significant milestone in the organisation’s mission to eliminate barriers that hinder the growth of women-owned businesses.

“Through the Happy Woman Match Fund, we are providing a practical pathway for women entrepreneurs to acquire the productive assets they need today while cultivating healthy financial habits that will strengthen their businesses for the future,” Erinle stated.

He added that the programme is being introduced first to members of the Happy Woman community in Lagos and Abuja, where the first cohort of beneficiaries will be selected.

According to him, the programme reflects its commitment to supporting women in building sustainable businesses and achieving long-term financial independence.

Foluke Alakija, founder and managing director, Mayden Microfinance Bank, stated that the bank is committed to advancing financial inclusion by supporting innovative financing solutions that expand access to capital for underserved entrepreneurs.

She added that the programme will promote entrepreneurship and financial inclusion, particularly among women-led businesses.

She disclosed that eligible women entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply and take advantage of the opportunity to access equipment that will strengthen their businesses and accelerate growth.

Through the partnership, Happy Woman Solutions Limited and Mayden Microfinance Bank hope to empower more women to build thriving enterprises, generate employment, and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s economic development.

Applications for the Happy Woman Match Fund are now open for eligible members of the Happy Woman community in Lagos and Abuja.

Accordingly, interested applicants are encouraged to submit their applications through the programme’s designated application platform.
