Flybird RPAS, the Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) division of Flybird Group, has proposed the deployment of intelligent aerial solutions to tackle challenges in the African Energy sector.
This happened at the recently held 25th NOG Energy Week Conference and Exhibition where Flybird featured, reinforcing the group’s growing role in delivering integrated aviation solutions to the energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors across Africa.
Held at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja, the event brought together key stakeholders from across the global energy value chain. The Flybird Group showcased its advanced drone capabilities while expatiating on its strategic expansion into offshore helicopter services and integrated aviation support.
According to Chanel Scott, Chief Executive Officer, Flybird RPAS, the firm’s participation at the NOG Energy Week reaffirmed the growing demand for intelligent aerial solutions across the energy sector.
“We had the opportunity to engage with organisations seeking innovative technologies that improve safety, operational efficiency and asset management. The NOG welcomed a broad spectrum of visitors, including representatives from international oil companies, indigenous operators, government agencies, regulators, engineering firms, and technology partners.
Discussions centred on the increasing role of drone technology in improving operational safety, asset integrity, environmental monitoring, infrastructure inspection, security surveillance and data-driven decision-making.
The exhibition also provided a platform for Flybird Group to present its vision of delivering a fully integrated aviation ecosystem comprising aircraft management, business aviation, offshore helicopter services, RPAS operations, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), and aviation advisory services.
