As Nigerian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) face mounting pressure to improve efficiency and compete in an increasing digital economy, Taofeek Yusuff, a management consultant and business analyst, is building a consulting practice that uses data analytics and structured project delivery to help businesses make better operational decisions.

Yusuff is the founder and chief executive officer of Businnovant Global Solutions LLC, a management consulting firm that provides advisory services to SMEs through business analytics, project management, strategic planning, and technology-enabled business improvement.

His approach reflects a broader shift in the consulting industry, where smaller businesses are increasingly seeking specialised advisory services that deliver measurable outcomes rather than broad strategic recommendations traditionally associated with large consulting firms.

By combining business analytics with implementation support, Yusuff’s consulting model focuses on helping organisations improve operational efficiency, measure business performance, strengthen decision-making, and execute projects using clearly defined objectives and performance metrics.

His advisory work covers business intelligence, forecasting, process improvement, operational planning, performance management, and technology implementation, with recommendations supported by data and evaluated against measurable business outcomes.

The demand for evidence-based consulting is growing as SMEs contend with rising operating costs, increased competition, and the need to adopt digital tools without the extensive resources available to larger corporations.

Before founding Businnovant Global Solutions, Yusuff held business leadership and analytical positions in Nigeria’s healthcare and manufacturing sectors, where he worked on business performance measurement, competitive intelligence, forecasting, and regional business management.

He earned a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the University of New Haven, Connecticut, in 2024. He also holds an Executive Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Obafemi Awolowo University.

His professional credentials include the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation and Fellowship of the Institute of Management Consultants, certifications awarded to practitioners who meet recognised standards of competence, ethics, and professional practice. He is also a Certified Management Specialist of the London Graduate School.

Drawing on professional experience in both Nigeria and the United States, Yusuff’s consulting approach adapts enterprise consulting practices to the realities of SMEs by delivering structured projects with defined deliverables rather than open-ended engagements.

As businesses rely on data to improve productivity and competitiveness, consulting firms that combine analytics, technology, and measurable implementation are becoming an important part of the SME support ecosystem.

Through Businnovant Global Solutions, Yusuff is positioning his practice within this growing segment of the consulting market.
