Engaging young minds are getting a head start in leadership and entrepreneurship as Indomie partners with the Teesas Summer School startup spark 2.0 to support the ‘Future CEOs Challenge’, to inspire the next generation of business leaders.

According to the organisers, the challenge is meant to inspire children aged seven to 18 to think creatively, identify problems around them, and develop innovative solutions that can make a real difference in their communities.

Besides, it will spur hopefuls to build confidence and communication skills while competing for a place in one of Nigeria’s most engaging summer programmes that equips children with leadership, entrepreneurial, and tech skills.

Gladys Osime, the learning centre growth manager at Teesas Education, speaking on the judging criteria, said, “The goal is not to have a perfect business plan. Instead, judges want to hear original ideas and understand how children think about solving real-world challenges.

“Whether the idea focuses on education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, technology, transportation, or community development, every thoughtful solution has a chance to stand out.”

Ibrahim Isah, the Indomie brand manager, said, “Beyond nourishing children daily, at Indomie, we believe every great innovation begins with a simple idea and the courage to bring it to life.

“We are proud to support a platform that encourages young minds to think creatively, solve real-life problems, and develop the confidence to become tomorrow’s leaders and innovators through our partnership with Teesas Education.”

Parents are invited to help their children record a 60-second video answering one important question: ‘If you could start a business that solves a problem in your community, what would it be?’ Video entries should be uploaded through the designated Future CEO page on the Teesas Education website.

All entries must be submitted no later than Monday, July 13.  After reviewing submissions, the judging panel will select five outstanding children to participate in the Teesas Startup Spark 2.0 at no cost, courtesy of Indomie.

The winners will be officially announced on Wednesday, July 15, and they will join the first cohort of the summer school, which starts on Monday, July 20.
