Nile University of Nigeria has strengthened its presence in Nigeria’s executive education space with the launch of the Lagos Liaison Office of the Nile Business School, an initiative aimed at developing business leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals in Nigeria’s commercial capital.

The liaison office is designed to provide executives and organisations with access to globally relevant management education, leadership development programmes, and industry-focused training solutions, according to a statement signed by the institution on Friday.

Speaking at the launch on Thursday in Lagos, John Vermaaten, Pro-Chancellor, Nile University, described the initiative as a critical investment in human capital and a significant milestone in the institution’s growth journey.

“We believe this is the first step in a long journey to expand Nile University’s footprint and impact more professionals seeking knowledge, career advancement, and further education,” he said.

Also speaking, Dilli Dogo, Vice-Chancellor, Nile University noted that the Lagos Liaison Office would serve as a gateway to innovative executive education, combining academic excellence with practical business applications.

According to him, the School leverages advanced technologies, including virtual reality, augmented reality, and business simulations, to prepare participants for real-world challenges.

“We want the business community to be the ones speaking about the value they have gained from Nile Business School. Our focus is on delivering measurable impact through practical, technology-driven learning experiences,” Dogo stated.

Noel Tagoe, Dean of Nile Business School, highlighted the institution’s distinctive “practice-to-theory-and-back-to-practice” model, designed to help professionals immediately apply classroom learning within their organizations.

The statement added that the Lagos Liaison Office will offer Executive Development Programmes, leadership courses, entrepreneurship training, and specialised programmes in strategy, marketing, innovation, and technology, further positioning Nile Business School as a leading centre for executive education in Africa.
