Arsenal officially lifted the 2025/26 Premier League trophy on Sunday, celebrating their newly crowned champions with a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park before a sea of ecstatic travelling fans.

Huge financial reward for champions
Beyond ending a two-decade wait for domestic glory, Arsenal are also set for a huge financial reward from their title-winning campaign.
The Gunners are expected to receive a baseline Premier League payment of approximately £96.9 million, while overall league-related earnings are projected to rise between £176 million and £178 million before additional commercial bonuses from sponsors including adidas and Emirates.
Jesus, Madueke seal final-day victory
Playing for the first time since clinching the title, Arsenal took the lead late in the first half through Gabriel Jesus at Selhurst Park.
Noni Madueke added Arsenal’s second goal after the break to ensure the champions finished the campaign with 26 wins from 38 league matches.
Since losing to Manchester City on April 19 in a result that appeared to swing momentum back towards Pep Guardiola’s side, Arsenal responded impressively with five consecutive league victories to finish seven points clear at the top.
Ødegaard lifts trophy amid wild celebrations
After the final whistle, Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard lifted the Premier League trophy following the medal presentation to Arteta and his squad.
Red confetti and fireworks filled the air as Ødegaard hoisted the silverware, while Arsenal players celebrated with champagne in front of thousands of travelling supporters.
Arteta was tossed into the air by his players as Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke and his son Josh carried the trophy onto the pitch for the presentation ceremony.
Supporters continued the celebrations by singing the club anthem “North London Forever”, waving inflatable trophies and applauding the squad’s remarkable achievement.
Focus shifts to Champions League final
Although the trophy presentation took place away from the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal will parade the silverware through north London on May 31 in front of home supporters.
Attention will now turn to Arsenal’s pursuit of a historic double as they prepare to face Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final on May 30.
Winning the Premier League already guarantees this season a place in Arsenal folklore, but lifting the Champions League trophy could make it the greatest campaign in the club’s history.
