Yahaya Bello, a former governor of Kogi State and APC senatorial candidate for Kogi Central, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as courageous and visionary leadership.

Bello made the remarks after casting his vote at his polling unit in Okene-Eba, Agassa, Ahache Ward in Okene local government area of Kogi State.

He said: “The impressive turnout recorded during the APC presidential primary reflected growing nationwide support for Tinubu’s re -election ambition”.

He stated that the President had demonstrated the political will needed to tackle national challenges and reposition the country for growth and development, noting that Tinubu’s first tenure had already laid a strong foundation that requires continuity and consolidation beyond 2027.

He commended the administration for ongoing infrastructure projects, especially the concrete pavement road construction linking Abuja, Okene, and Benin.

Bello equally pointed out that previous administrations between 1999 and 2023 failed to execute the project, while the current government has shown determination in addressing long-standing infrastructural deficits , as he commended APC members across Kogi State for their active participation in the presidential primary election and urged party loyalists to remain united in support of the Tinubu administration’s policies and programmes.
