The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) will hold its 59th National Board Meeting in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

The BSN in a statement signed by Ben Mordi, its media manager, disclosed that Timothy Banwo, president and board chairman of the Society, will preside over the board meeting.

According to the statement, the meeting will be declared open by Seyi Makinde, Oyo State Governor, and that the meeting will start with a Divine Service scheduled to be held at the First Baptist Church, Oke Elerin, Ogbomoso, on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

According to the statement, Samuel Sanusi, the general secretary and chief executive officer of BSN, is expected to present the report for the year under review to the board during the meeting.

Among other things, the past and future activities of the organisation concerning its Bible work mandates will be discussed at the meeting.

The accounts of the organisation for the past year will also be examined.

According to the statement, Yakubu Gowon, the patron of BSN, national officers, members of the board of trustees, and delegates from across the country are expected at the meeting, as well as senior members of the management team of the BSN.

The Bible Society of Nigeria is a non-profit interdenominational Christian organisation that translates the Bible into Nigerian languages, publishes, and distributes the Holy Scriptures.

The BSN activities also involved raising funds for its Bible work and the execution of programmes that engage people with the Word of God to transform their lives.
