The Bauchi State Police Command, has successfully arrested one Saidu Isah for stealing three smart television, each 400,000 totalling of N1.2 million.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the command spokesman, Nafiu Habib and made available to journalists in Bauchi.
According to him said that “On 3rd May, 2026, at about 0916hrs, a patrol team from the Division arrested one Saidu Isah, male, 27 years old, of Almuri in Misau Local Government Area. The suspect was apprehended with three smart television sets, each valued at ₦400,000”
Added that “The suspect confessed to having criminally conspired with one Abdul (surname unknown) alias “PA” of Wunti, who is currently at large. The duo, in furtherance of their unlawful act, trespassed into the premises of the National Broadcasting Commission located behind Elim Church, Yelwan Tudu, Bauchi, and carted away the three television sets.
He said that the case is under active investigation at ‘E’ Division, which the suspect will be charged to court, as soon as preliminary investigation is concluded.
He further said that the state commissioner of police, Sani-Omolori Aliyu, assured the people of Bauchi State of the Command’s resolve to safeguard lives and property across the State.
The CP urged residents and organizations to remain vigilant and promptly report suspicious activities to the nearest Police station.
