Peter Obi, former Anambra governor, and Rabiu Kwankwaso, former Kano governor, have officially joined the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).

The duo were officially received into the party by Seriake Dickson, its national leader, top executives, and hundreds of supporters at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja on Sunday evening.

This comes hours after Obi announced his resignation from the African Democratic Congress (ADC), citing toxic environment and deepening crises.
