The Super Eagles of Nigeria are aiming to maintain their perfect record in Turkey as they battle Jordan in an international friendly in Antalya on Tuesday.
Eric Chelle’s side heads into the encounter on the back of a 2–1 victory over Iran in Antalya on Friday, with goals from Moses Simon and Akor Adams securing the win at the Corendon Airlines Park.

Jordan, already qualified for the FIFA World Cup, arrives as an improved side. Ranked 64th in the world, they have lost just once in their last five matches.
Chelle is expected to reshuffle his defence, with Igoh Ogbu likely to be paired with a new centre-back partner, while Zaidu Sanusi could replace Onyemaechi at left-back. Bright Osayi-Samuel is set to continue at right-back.
In midfield, Alex Iwobi, on the verge of his 98th cap, will combine with captain Wilfred Ndidi, alongside options including Frank Onyeka, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Raphael Onyedika.
In attack, Simon could once again lead the line, supported by Samuel Chukwueze, Adams or Ademola Lookman. Paul Onuachu, Chidera Ejuke, Philip Otele and Yira Sor are also available for selection.
The Super Eagles remain unbeaten in regulation time in their last five matches, including victories over Algeria, Mozambique and Iran, as well as a penalty shootout win against Egypt in the AFCON third-place match.
Historically, Nigeria and Jordan have met twice at the senior level, with one win apiece. Nigeria secured a 2–0 victory in a 2004 LG Cup clash in Lagos, while Jordan edged a 1–0 friendly win in Amman in 2013.
Tuesday’s encounter offers Chelle another opportunity to fine-tune his squad as preparations continue for upcoming competitions, including the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
