Arsenal have suffered a major setback in their title push, with Eberechi Eze set to miss a crucial period of the season due to injury.
The 27-year-old attacker is expected to undergo a scan on his calf this week, according to reports, after picking up the injury in last week’s win over Bayer Leverkusen.

Eze was ruled out of Sunday’s League Cup final, where Arsenal fell to a 2-0 defeat against Manchester City, and has also withdrawn from the latest England national football team squad.
Initial assessments suggest the midfielder could be sidelined for between four to six weeks, though manager Mikel Arteta confirmed a definitive diagnosis will follow further scans.
The injury comes at a critical stage of the campaign, with Arsenal competing on multiple fronts, including the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup.
Eze’s absence is compounded by a growing injury list, with Gabriel Magalhaes, Jurrien Timber, William Saliba, and Leandro Trossard all withdrawing from international duty, while captain Martin Odegaard continues his recovery in England.
The Gunners return to action with an FA Cup quarter-final clash against Southampton on April 4, before facing Sporting CP in the Champions League quarter-final first leg.
Arteta will be hoping key players recover in time as Arsenal aim to sustain their push for silverware on multiple fronts.
