Under this year’s theme, “Give to Gain”, the highlight was an engaging panel discussion hosted in collaboration with Almond Productions Limited, centred on “Give to Gain”.

Speakers emphasised the urgent need to sustain momentum in advancing gender inclusion across sectors, from finance to healthcare and enterprise risk management, the consensus was clear, when women are given equal access to opportunities, leadership roles, mentorship, and visibility, the ripple effects strengthen organisations, families, and national economies.

The discussion highlighted both the progress made and the deliberate actions still required to dismantle bias, amplify women’s voices, and build a more inclusive future.

Patience Ugboajah, executive director, Operations, CHI Life Assurance Limited notes that the shift is undeniable, “More women now sit at decision-making tables than ever before. Let’s sustain this momentum by giving mentorship, fair promotions, and bold advocacy; because empowered women create resilient families, organisations, and economies.”
