‘One Battle After Another’ won six Oscars at the 98th Academy Awards on March 15-16, 2026, including Best Picture, Best Directing (Paul Thomas Anderson), Best Adapted Screenplay (Paul Thomas Anderson), Best Supporting Actor (Sean Penn), Best Casting (Cassandra Kulukundis, inaugural category), and one additional win in a major category to reach the total of six. The film closed the ceremony as Best Picture winner.

‘Sinners’ won five Oscars, led by Best Actor in a Leading Role for Michael B. Jordan in his dual role as the Smokestack Twins.
