Tony Olukoyede, the convener and president, Koinonia Ministerial Network (KOMNET), says the Nigerian Church needs to understand her true identity and mission under the new dispensation of grace.
“Once the true identity is missing, the tendency is, the true mission will also be missing,” Olukoyede said in a statement.
He added that if the two are not in place, whatever the Church is doing today is entirely a religion, which the Church has already been turned into.
According to Olukoyede, there is a lot to do in understanding the mission of the Church, its meaning, the kingdom of God, and to reproduce after that order in response to the new dispensation of greater works.
On the back of this, he disclosed that the annual camp meeting of KOMNET themed, ‘Greater Works’ is scheduled to commence on Sunday March 1, and end on Wednesday March 4, 2026, at the PurposeLife Centre at Km 52, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ayetoro (near Redemption City).
According to him, the strategic camp meeting is organised for ministers to develop a path for the Kingdom, capture the mission of the Church and restore God’s original plan.
He disclosed that key speakers expected at the camp meeting include Wole Oladiyun, David Aboderin, Olubayode Awosika, Tony Akinyemi, and Elishama Ideh, among other speakers.
The 3-day camp meeting will attract church leaders and ministers of the gospel from different denominations across the country, and will seek to foster the recapturing and discovery of the Church’s original mission as representative of God’s government on earth.
According to Olukoyede, the conference promises to be purpose driven, kingdom oriented, and capacity-building for ministers to harness kingdom principles.
He disclosed that KOMNET is a body of ministers who are committed to the growth of the gospel, especially those called to serve in any of the five-fold ministries, as well as the marketplace Apostles.
According to him, KOMNET is also committed to apostolic networking and cooperation for the good that strengthened ministers’ development, ministries growth, and enhanced the body of Christ through revelational teachings, empowerment, and spiritual capacity-building for ministers to foster mutual relationship with the Holy Spirit.
