VFD Group Plc is targeting to raise up to N15 billion from the issuance of its Series 1 (Tranche A & B) Commercial Paper (CP) under its N50 billion Commercial Paper issuance programme. The net proceeds of the CP issuance will be used by VFD Group to support short-term working capital needs and funding requirements.

VFD Group is a proprietary investment company with a diversified portfolio spanning sectors such as banking, non-banking financial services, market infrastructure, technology, real estate, hospitality, media, entertainment, and energy.

The unaudited consolidated and separate financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2025 shows that VFD Group Plc profit rose slightly to N9.681billion from N8.693billion in 2024. The Group maintains a stable outlook, supported by its short-term A1 rating from DataPro.

“The Group maintains a sector-agnostic approach, actively identifying and investing in viable opportunities to deliver optimal returns for both retail and institutional investors,” according to Meristem Capital Limited, the Joint Arranger/Issuing and Placing Agent of the Commercial Paper issuance.

VFD Group Plc had raised N50.673billion through a Rights Issue which closed on December 26, 2025. The Rights Issue provided eligible shareholders with an opportunity to subscribe for 2 new ordinary shares for every 3 existing ordinary shares held, at a subscription price of N10 per share. The programme formed part of the Company’s broader strategy to reinforce its capital base, support long-term growth, and enhance shareholder value.
