Sage Grey Technologies Limited has concluded its pilot training on Proxze, an artificial intelligence-powered verification and tasking platform designed to enable real-time monitoring, compliance, and on-demand task execution across multiple sectors, including banking, security, government, and everyday consumer services.

Speaking at the product training, Oluwatosin Abiodun, managing director of Sage Grey Technologies Limited, said the concept of delegation and trust inspired Proxze.

“Proxze, as the name implies, is about having someone or something do something on your behalf, which is the idea behind the product. It was created to enable someone to do something for you, which is for banking, security, government operations, or even personal errands,” he said.

“The platform is not limited to a single sector,” Abiodun stated. In banking, Proxze can be deployed for Know Your Customer (KYC) verification and credit monitoring, while security agencies can also use it to monitor real-time events, crime patterns, and incidents.

Government agencies, including the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), are already leveraging the platform to monitor compliance and operational activities.

“Other agencies can also make use of Proxze to monitor their activities, and any organisation in the world with a monitoring and compliance unit can use it,” Abiodun said.

He stated that Proxze extends to individuals, enabling them to delegate everyday tasks, such as vehicle inspections, remotely.

Looking ahead, Abiodun said Sage Grey plans to onboard skilled artisans onto the platform, enabling users to request professional consultations and guidance remotely.

He attributed the rapid development of Proxze and other company products to the firm’s deliberate adoption of artificial intelligence.

“Our board approved an AI adoption policy to help us achieve faster deployment. With AI, what used to take a year can now take a fraction of the time. That’s why Proxze is not our only product. We also have Splitmulti, Adzplug, Lotto Now Now, Pokili and Nkiru,” he said.

Paul Ojetayo, product manager/owner of Proxze, described Proxze as an AI-powered verification platform that delivers real-time insights using immutable geo-tagged and time-stamped video reports.

“It helps organisations see exactly what is happening on the ground in real time. We built it for scenarios where trust and oversight are critical,” Ojetayo said.

He explained that for NCDMB, the platform will significantly improve compliance and operational monitoring, especially in onboarding contractors and verifying their infrastructure, equipment, and capacity.

“Proxze enables them to monitor these processes in real time and ensure standards are met,” he added, noting that Proxze is sector-agnostic and can be used by security agencies, NGOs, media organisations, and development institutions.

“If you want to know what is happening in any location, you can send a request and receive real-time video evidence. The app is available on both Android and iOS,” he said.

Michelle Oleah, a product manager at Sage Grey Technologies, said Proxze represents a major step in empowering everyday Nigerians, particularly young people, through task-based income opportunities.

“Proxze allows people to push out tasks they can’t do themselves to others who are available to execute them. It cuts across retail users, companies, and government agencies,” Oleah said.

She highlighted the platform’s built-in financial system, which allows users to earn and receive instant payments for completed tasks. “Every time you carry out a task, you earn. Payments go straight into your wallet, and withdrawals are instant. This is especially important in Nigeria, where access to jobs and timely payments can be challenging.”

Oleah noted that Proxze can be applied across virtually all sectors, from KYC verification and errands to flood checks during house hunting and community monitoring.

She praised the development team, describing them as ‘young, passionate Nigerians’ committed to building solutions that deliver sustainable impact.

At the government level, Ajayi Oluwafemi, supervisor, enterprise solutions, ICT at NCDMB, said the agency commissioned Sage Grey Technologies to develop the application as part of its mandate to monitor and enforce local content compliance in the Oil and Gas sector.

“NCDMB is tasked with building capacity, monitoring local content, and enforcing compliance, and Proxze will serve as a board monitoring service, enabling us to oversee activities in real time,” Oluwafemi said.

Endurance Nwadoziokwu, officer, monitoring and evaluation directorate at NCDMB, stated that the platform would significantly improve field verification, communication, and oversight.

“With this software, we can track and monitor activities in different locations in real time using dual location and timestamped video evidence. It also closes communication gaps between officers, supervisors, and managers,” Nwadoziokwu said, adding that the platform had exceeded the agency’s expectations.

Temitope Runsewe, chairman of the board of directors at Sage Grey Technologies Limited, said the partnership with NCDMB was both an honour and a validation of the company’s long-term strategy of investing in people, infrastructure, and world-class processes.

“We believe Nigerians can build world-class institutions in Nigeria. Why should we shine abroad when we can shine at home? We have the talent, the capacity, and the drive,” Runsewe said.

He disclosed that Sage Grey operates a 250-plus support centre and multiple support hubs to ensure service excellence. “Everything you get from Sage Grey is world-class. Nigerians are driving the biggest industries globally, and now we are building that excellence here,” he said.

With Proxze now live, Sage Grey Technologies said it is focused on expanding its AI capabilities, onboarding more users and organisations, and deepening partnerships to drive innovation, transparency, and economic inclusion across Nigeria and beyond.
