Inlaks, a foremost ICT infrastructure and Solutions Provider, has earned the award of ‘The best partner of the year’ for deploying Hyosung ATMs to almost all the banks in Nigeria thereby ensuring  the country’s  ATM growth  in support of the Central Bank of Nigeria  (CBN) drive for cashless society.

In the last three years, Hyosung ATMs have recorded an impressive growth in the country moving from 450 to over 3,500.

The ATM customers have also grown from one bank to 16 out of the 20 Commercial Banks in Nigeria due to the exceptional product and services benefits delivered by Hyosung terminals.

In Nigeria today, Hyosung ATMs and Kiosks are enjoying greater acceptability and fast growth in the self-service market due to the brand unique features, environmental fitness and‎ adaptability to the distinctive service needs of the banks.

Presenting the plaque for the Best Hyosung Partner Award to Inlaks in Lagos, the Vice President, Nautilus Hyosung Inc., Jinho Moon acknowledged the company’s efforts at driving financial inclusion through the deployment of Hyosung ATMS thereby tapping into the huge potentials of the unbanked people in the country.

He commended Inlaks for the demonstration of visionary leadership capabilities in the delivery of innovative solutions and compliance with the market regulations.

According to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Africa Operations, Inlaks, Femi Adeoti, “Inlaks as an organisation has been a major forerunner of ATM transactions services in Nigeria and has always partnered with many commercial banks to integrate the various channels to create greater choices and profitability since her entrant to the sector.”

He explained that as part of Inlaks’ organisational strategy, the company always aligns with reputable global partners to ensure that Nigerians have access to the available best in class technology and best practises globally.

Inlaks was the first ATM vendor in Nigeria to deliver Windows7 ATMs to the market early last year in compliance to the Central Bank of Nigeria and Microsoft global directive on exit of Windows XP on ATMs.

Furthermore, Inlaks is the only ATM vendor in Nigeria delivering biometric (finger print) reader on its Hyosung brand of ATMs in readiness for integration with the NIBSS’ BVN project.
