Entrepreneur and founder of Prep Nourish, Henry Eze, has said the taste of a meal has an important role to play in the quest of eating healthy meals.

Eze, who said the taste of a meal can fix healthy eating, also said his brand would rather toe a different line with food that are tasty.

He said, “Lagos has seen every version of “healthy” extreme diets, miracle teas, strict meal challenges that start loudly and fade quietly. Prep Nourish is taking a different route. Rather than promising quick fixes, the brand is betting on something deceptively simple: meals that people actually want to keep eating.”

Explaining further, Eze said, “Boring ‘diet food’ fails because it fights people’s taste buds and culture. Prep Nourish’s approach is to keep the joy in food while upgrading what’s on the plate. That means creamy tiger nut pasta instead of heavy cream; herb and potato breads in place of plain white loaves; and chef-designed menus that look and feel like real, satisfying meals, not punishment.”

He said this philosophy runs through its series – CUT for realistic, enjoyable weight loss and CARE for those managing conditions like diabetes or high blood pressure.

“Everything is portioned, pre-ordered, and delivered, but nothing about the experience screams restriction. As more Lagos professionals reject harsh diet culture in favour of long-term wellbeing, we offer a middle path: food that respects health goals and palate at the same time. The bet is simple, if healthy meals taste amazing and fit into everyday life, people will finally stick with them.”
