United Nigeria Airlines has announced the commencement of direct flight operations from Murtala Muhammed International Airport Terminal 2 (MMA2), Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja to General Tunde Idiagbon International Airport, Ilorin, another strategic step in our mission to unite more Nigerian cities with reliable and accessible air travel.

This will also mean more connectivity for air passengers looking to fly from city to city within the country.

“This expansion underscores our commitment to strengthening domestic mobility, deepening national integration, and making air travel more convenient for businesses, families, and visitors across the country,” Chibuike Uloka, Public Relations Officer, United Nigeria Airlines, said.

According to Uloka, United Nigeria Airlines looks forward to serving Ilorin and making a meaningful contribution to the state’s social and economic development.

“With every new destination, we reaffirm our mantra of Flying to Unite—bringing Nigerians closer to opportunities, culture, and commerce.

“We are also excited to announce the further expansion of our network with the commencement of direct flights from Murtala Muhammed International Airport Terminal 2 (MMA2), Lagos, and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, to the Ekiti Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport starting 10th December 2025” he said.

According to him, In addition, scheduled direct flights from Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, to Chinua Achebe Airport, Anambra, will begin on 15th December 2025, in line with our mission to unite travellers across Nigeria with their destinations safely, reliably, and On-Time.
