President Muhammadu Buhari will (today) Monday, undertake a day official visit to Accra, the Ghanaian capital, to confer with his Ghanaian counterpart on issues of mutual concern.
A statement by Femi Adesina, presidential spokesperson, said the president would meet with his Ghanaian counterpart, John Dramani Mahama to discuss bilateral relations, regional security, trade and other issues of common interest to Nigeria, Ghana and other members of the ECOWAS.
During his visit, Buhari is also expected to meet with members of the Nigerian community in Ghana and entrepreneurs before returning to Abuja, Monday evening.
He would be accompanied by Babagana Monguno, National Security Adviser, the permanent secretaries in the ministries of foreign affairs, defence, justice and industry, trade and investment.
As the two largest economies in West Africa, the two counties have maintained and continue to strengthen their relationship.
