President Muhammadu Buhari will Monday, undertake a one-day official visit to Accra, the Ghanaian capital , to confer with his Ghanaian counterpart on issues of mutual concern.
A statement by the Presidential spokesperson, Femi Adesina said the President will meet with his Ghanaian counterpart, John Dramani Mahama to discuss bilateral relations, regional security, trade and other issues of common interest to Nigeria, Ghana and other members of the Economic Community of West African States.
During his visit the President is also expected to meet with members of the Nigerian community in Ghana and entrepreneurs before returning to Abuja, Monday evening.
He will be accompanied to Accra by the National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno (rtd.) and the Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defence, Justice and Industry, Trade and Investment.
As the two largest economies in West Africa, the two counties have maintained and continue to strengthen their relationship .
