…Elevates four high chiefs, senior high chief

Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja (Arusa1) has advised presidents and world political leaders to cooperate and allow peaceful co -existence to be their cardinal principles.

This is just as the monarch also called on all religious adherents globally to ensure peaceful co -existence irrespective of our religious affiliations.

Ayoade Solomon Olugbemiga, Chief Press Secretary to Olubadan of Ibadanland in as statement quoted the monarvch as making the assertions during the courtesy visit paid by Bishop Francis Wale Oke, the President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) to Olubadan in his palace at Oke Aremo, Ibadan on Friday.

On the alleged Christian genocide in Nigeria, the Imperial Majesty admitted that Nigeria is currently facing some security challenges.

According to the paramount ruler, the insecurity as observed in many countries of the world affects all religious sects which should neither be allowed to divide us nor be allowed to result to war that may lead to destruction of lives and properties.

He urged the PFN President to appeal to other Christian leaders, worldwide to preach peace and be our brother’s and sister’s keepers as he urged the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to put more effort in ensuring that insecurity is reduced if not totally eradicated.

Francis Wale Oke, Bishop and the PFN president earlier in his address, prayed God to give the monarch longevity of life in the service of God and humanity

In a related development, Oba Ladoja on Friday elevated four High Chiefs and a Senior High Chief.

Those elevated are; Oba (Sir) Eddy Oyewole from Osi Olubadan to Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland,Oba Abiodun Kola Daisi from Ashipa Olubadan to Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland,Oba Amidu Salawudeen Ajibade from Ekerin Olubadan to Ashipa Olubadan of Ibadanland

Others are; Oba Adebayo Akande from Ekarun Olubadan to Ekerin Olubadan of Ibadanland while Kola Babalola High Chief and SAN who was represented by Sunday Adeyemo Babalola was promoted from Abese Olubadan to Ekarun Olubadan of Ibadanland

Important personalities who graced the occasion included members of Olubadan In – Council Oba Tajudeen Abimbola Ajibola Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Kolawole Adegbola Otun Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba John Olubunmi Isioye Osi Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Akeem Mobolaji Adewoyin the Ekerin Balogun of Ibadanland and Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli high chief and Ekarun Balogun of Ibadanland.

Other dignitaries were Dolapo Osibajo, wife of former Vice President; Olufunmilayo Taiyewo Soyege, Chief and Balogun Iyalode of Ibadanland, traditional rulers, religious leaders, Ajeniyi Ajewole Sulaimon, president Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) among others.
