The trial of a former manager with the Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC), Olubusoye Ayodeji, charged with stealing the company’s N68 Million, was on Tuesday adjourned till Sept. 9, 2015 by an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court, in Lagos.
Magistrate O.I. Adelaja, adjourned the case after the prosecutor Inspector. Richard Odigie told the court that his principal witnesses were not in court. Adelaja, went ahead to grant bail to the accused in the sum of N2million with two sureties in like sum.
The accused is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing of company funds. Odigie had earlier told the court that the accused committed the offences between the month of June 2011 and 2014 at the Bottling Company in Iddo, Lagos State.
