The board meeting of Transcorp Hotels Plc held on Thursday, July 24 and the directors of the company approved: the Unaudited Financial Statements (UFS) for the period ended June 30, 2025; and the proposal for declaration of interim dividend of 10 kobo.

The company’s closed period for trading on the shares of the company by insiders, which commenced on July 1 will remain in force until 24 hours after the filing of the Unaudited Financial Statements.

Transcorp Hotels Plc unaudited consolidated and separate financial statements for the period ended June 30, 2025 show group revenue almost doubled to N47.572billion in H1’25 from N29.719billion in H1’24. The company’s profit for the H1’25 period increased to N8.679billion from N6.615billion in H1’24.

The interim dividend of 10 kobo per subject to appropriate withholding tax (WHT) will be paid to shareholders whose names appear in the register of members as at the close of business on Thursday, August 7.

The register of Transcorp Hotels shareholders will be closed from Friday, August 8 to Wednesday, August 13 (both dates inclusive).

On Friday, August 15 dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders whose names appear on the register of members as at Thursday, August 7, 2025 and who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the registrar to pay their dividends directly into their bank accounts.
