Fixed Income : On Wednesday, February 20, 2019 the Debt Management Office will auction N150 billion (US$415 million) worth of bonds by subscription on behalf of the Federal Government. Treasury Bills worth N578.99 billion will mature via the secondary market and this is expected to boost liquidity in the market despite the N150 billion long term debts that will be raised by Debt Management Office.
Commodities
Cocoa: Unfavourable weather in Ivory Coast would lead to an increase in global prices. This is positive for Nigeria’s export revenue.
Grains: Higher demand for US wheat is expected to push up prices.
