Tecno moves with trend, unveils latest Smartphones in Nigerian market

Tecno, a foremost phone maker has introduced its latest Smarphone devices, Phantom 6 and Phantom 6 plus into the Nigerian market, one week after the launch of the devices in Dubai.

According to the company, the  Phantom 6 Smartphone with pay off “Never say it, show it”, is the slimmest and comes with dual back camera.

Jesse Oguntimehin, deputy marketing manager, digital for Tecno, said with the launch of the new Phantom 6 and Phantom 6 Plus, Tecno has yet again shown how disruptive Smartphone technology can get.

For instance, he said  the Phantom 6 comes with a stunning SONY 13MP+5MP dual rear lens camera capable of capturing beautiful images with as much stunning detail as a professional DSLR camera. “Interestingly, Phantom 6 packs all these specification upgrades in an ultra slim uni-body; making it the slimmest dual-rear-camera Smartphone in the market. Tecno Phantom 6 can refocus objects captured in apicture; this is dependent on concentration per time. With more internal memory, the Phantom 6 holds up to 5,120 songs or twenty 20 High Definition movies with no glitch”.

On the other hand, the, new Tecno Phantom 6 Plus comes with a mind-blowing Mediatek Helio X20 Deca-core processor. “To put the Phantom 6 plus super performance speed in perspective, our new phablet can seamlessly run 32 mobile apps simultaneously. In simple words, the Phantom 6 Plus is built for speed and high-level multi-tasking. Its massive 64GB expandable internal memory can hold 12,000 songs, 25 HD movies and countless high res pictures. But one feature that got reviewers buzzing about Tecno Phantom 6 plus is its security system-. It comes with fingerprint, eye scanner and TrustLook anti-virus”, he said.

Oguntimehin further explained that it took 2,880 minutes of professional handcrafting and 32 thorough processes managed by over 500 engineers to manufacture either of the duo-Tecno Phantom 6 and Phantom 6 plus.

According to him after sales services get a notch improvement also. “ Take for instance; Tecno users can now enjoy 3 months insurance cover on their flagship touch screen, maximum 72 hours repair period and standard 12+1 months warranty across all 95 Carlcare centers-Tecno’s official after sales service center in Nigeria.

Also speaking, Chidi Okonkwo, General manager, Tecno said  after the company’s 10 years of business now controls a total of 25.3% percent of the entire mobile market share in the six major mobile markets of Africa.

“We are not resting on our laurels because we believe that the future holds even greater potential. The Nigerian market is one of our critical markets, currently Nigeria has one of the highest year-on-year mobile shipment volumes for Tecno smart phones and feedbacks from Nigerian consumers have helped inform some of our most revolutionary upgrades in flagship specifications”.

In 2006, Tecno entered the Africa mobile market sphere and since then, has been delivering quality mobile devices – Smartphones, smart-bands and tablets, with the aim of making high-end mobile devices readily available to consumers.
