Partial Scholarship to study at The University of Dundee September 2023 or January 2024

The University of Dundee, Scotland, one of the UK’s leading universities, has announced a scholarship fund worth £7.8million to help students from across the globe fund their education.

Included is the Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship for Africa, which is worth £5,000, per year of study, and is available to students who apply to commence their studies in September 2023 or January 2024.

Internationally recognized for its expertise across a range of disciplines including business, science, law and engineering, the University of Dundee, has revealed their Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships for Africa will be granted per year of study, meaning students can benefit from up to £25,000 of funding, depending on their choice of course.

The scholarship is available for all undergraduate applicants for entry in September 2023, with the exception of those applying for Medicine and Dentistry, and all taught postgraduate applicants for entry in September 2023 or January 2024.

A number of other scholarships are also available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students from Africa, including the Global Citizenship Scholarship worth £5,000 per year of study and the Global Excellence Scholarship worth £6,000 per year of study and for undergraduate students only.

Professor Peter McEleavy, the University’s Academic Lead for Africa, said, “We are delighted to announce a further year of funding of the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship for both undergraduate and postgraduate entrants from Africa.

“The University of Dundee has welcomed students from across Africa since its inception in 1967. Our African Alumni have risen to the highest levels of the public and private sectors and this scholarship reflects our ongoing commitment to support African students.”

Applicants do not have to directly apply for the scholarship. Eligibility will be assessed as part of programme applications and individuals will be notified in writing if they have received a scholarship.
