Club Quilox

The building is massive and charming. The decor on the inside is breath taking.

Its warmness and chilling nature is beyond Africa’s idea. Call it Las Vegas or Los Angeles you won’t be wrong. Quilox is stupendously rich inside and outside and offers lustrous life style for the very wealthy elites. Even the middle class could easily be intimidated by the high level display of wealth at Quilox.

The sight of a bottle of beer is an abomination at Quilox. It’s a place for only ‘spirit’ and wine. Not just spirited drinks but the very expensive ones. Quilox has multiple VIP lounge created to suit individual customer’s crave and life style. At a particular VIP lounge in Quilox a bottle of spirit goes way beyond the regular fee, its for the big shots with high spending power. Quilox is indeed a relaxation centre for the very rich.

Quilox is broken to sections. There is the roof top VIP section, where customers can relax on soft couches with drinks of their choice and cigarette, while watching either the big screen or the ever busy Ozumba Mbadiwe street and at the same time enjoying the chillling breeze from the lagoon; there are other inner VIP lounges created for peculiar customers who crave a hush atmophere. Quilox is designed in such a way to give each VIP section its own bar; as there is no need to go to ‘Sokoto’ for what is already in ‘Shokoto’.

Then comes the dance hall, where happening ladies and gentlemen cannnot help but dance to the admiration of watchers. It’s bizarre here; none-stop dancing with disco lights adding colour to the already hansome and beautiful faces. It’s dazzling here. Quilox is located at 873 Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Orela Restaurant & Bar

It is amazing and unfathomable, how a place as exquisite as Orela Restaurant and Bar could be so hidden from the plying eyes of many, like a green snake taking cover under green grass. Orela, located at 114 Awolowo Road, seems to be a secret best kept in Lagos fashioned to ‘hide customers’ away from the hustle and bustle nature of Awolowo road cluster in Ikoyi.

The entire setting of Orela is tasteful and seduces the mind into relaxation. From the entrance of the bar where a smartly dressed young lady is positioned to welcome customers with warmness and smile, additionally recommending dishes on the menu to customers; to the astonishing couches; everything in its proper place .

The cleanliness of its environment is second to none. The gold like soreness of the atmosphere formed by dim warm lights would definitely have a tender consequence on the customers. Little wonder it is company’s CEOs and the likes that dine and wine at Orela. Politicians, oil and gas chairmen, bankers, lawyers, fashion designers, singers, Nollywood stars are some of the ‘heavy weights’ who find Orela home away from home. It is a place where clients can network and have business meetings with free Wi-Fi access throughout the restaurant. Orela’s fabulous menus are local and intercontinental. It is indeed a place to be.

E-Bar

If you have been visiting hang out spots in Lekki Phase 1, without partaking in the pleasure ritual daily performed by E-Bar, you have missed. You have excluded yourself from the most organized and patronized bar in the area.

E-Bar Plaza, located at 20, Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, is managed by a team led by a Russian lady who has seen it all doing bar business in Nigeria in the last 36 years. The bar which started eleven years ago as a family bar, has as its kitchen head an experienced Russian lady who has excellently learnt the skills of preparing African menus and can beat an African woman in kitchen affairs. Words may not be enough to tell the titillating aroma and the unbeatable taste of E-bar’s Esi-Ewu and Nkwobi. A plate of Nkwobi for instance at E-bar is out of this world! You cannot taste any of the menus of E-bar and your perception of life remains the same. E-bar is another favourable spot where football lovers converge to enjoy live football matches. There is never a dull moment in E-bar with several TV sets hung in every corner of the bar! As for this year, E-Bar is definitely one of the places to visit and get value for money spent without any form of regrets.
