We must continue to talk as a nation – Peterside

Atedo Peterside, chairman, Anap Jets Limited has said that Nigerians must not stop to talk about issues about the country.

Peterside, who was the keynote speaker at a colloquium to mark the 63rd birthday of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, themed, ‘Mistakes Nigeria Made,’ said: “People say, enough of this talk; it’s time for action’. There is a misconception that talking is not a means of solving problem. If you continue to talk without acting, it is talk shop. But if by talking you hold government feet to the fire; you hold them accountable, that is why we must continue to talk.”

He encouraged politicians who contest elections and fail not to go away from the scene to resurface in the next election cycle, but to stay around and continuously lend their voices.

” Those who lose elections and disappear only to come back next four years, I guarantee you that you will lose again next time. Continue to be around. Do not go away to return. That is how to make the necessary progress.”
