Spotlight African Network at the Women Making A difference Community Service Leadership Award 2020 in Lagos recognized Mrs Taba Peterside for her excellence in leadership and community service in Africa.

Taba Peterside is an accomplished financial service professional with over 30 years of local and international experience in banking, development and microfinance, financial regulation and research. She is keenly interested in female financial empowerment and issues around girl child development. “We are very excited to partner with Spotlight Africa to sponsor the Women Making A Difference Awards,” Mrs Peterside said. “These LAWMA women are largely unnoticed, but perform a valuable service on a daily basis, risking their lives to keep the streets of Lagos clean. Financial inclusion is central to what we do at Waveline, and we look forward to working with these women to assist them on the basics of running a small business. I commend Spotlight Africa on this innovative initiative to recognize and reward the “Women in Orange’”.
