GOTHEXM Foundation launched to support less-privileged Nigerians

Wole Oyejobi, a part-time pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) – Bethel, Ojodu, and an engineer, has launched the GOTHEXM Foundation – a non-profit organisation, to support the less-privileged, downtrodden, and vulnerable Nigerians.

Oyejobi, who made this known to journalists recently at the Foundation’s secretariat in Lagos, said the mandate of inaugurating the foundation was divine.

He explained that the Foundation was conceived after he sought God’s direction through prayers, on what he would do to mark his 50th birthday.

The Foundation, according to him, was officially inaugurated on March 31, 2021, the day he clocked 50 years as a major feature of his birthday thanksgiving and praise.

“The Foundation’s goal is to promote poverty prevention measures. The areas of focus include scholarship, grants, or bursary support for children’s education, especially the less-privileged,” he said.

Other areas of focus according to him, included, health care services, food relief, provision of drinkable water, community support, and business support in terms of loans, for micro, small and medium scale businesses (MSMEs) of the less-privileged.

Other key members of the Foundation include Deaconess Adefolaju Oyejobi, vice chairman; Pastor Joseph Ibidun, 2nd vice chairman; Deacon Ayo Awe, public relations officer; Pastor Seun Oyewole, general secretary; Deacon Gboyega Ogun, treasurer and Pastor Mobolaji Oyejobi, financial secretary.
