Delta supermarket disburses cash, gifts to women, widows in Sapele

A popular Supermarket, Quick Grab Supermarket, located in Sapele, Delta State, has commenced a monthly cash gift programme for the aged women and widows within Sapele Local Government Area.

The initiative is in line with the Supermarket’s commitment in extending its support to the vulnerable members of the host community.

Presenting the cash gift on behalf of Quick Grab Supermarket, Amorighoye Ayomanor, who spoke to newsmen, emphasized the importance of reaching out to the elderly in the community.

“It is essential that we care for our aged ones, who can no longer work, by assisting them in the best possible way we can. This is precisely what Quick Grab Supermarket is doing by contributing to their upkeep and welfare.

“Notably, widows in Sapele Rural areas, including Okirighwre, Amukpe, Eko Amukpe, and Tropical axis, have been benefiting from a similar programme by Danohils Supermarket, situated at Amukpe, opposite KB Omatseye rubber factory, for the past three years.

“Quick Grab Supermarket is now extending its reach to Sapele Urban, demonstrating its commitment to supporting vulnerable members of the community.

“The cash gift program is a testament to the supermarket’s dedication to corporate social responsibility and its desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

‘By providing financial assistance to aged women and widows, the supermarket aims to alleviate some of the burdens they face and improve their overall well-being.
