BREAKING: Gunshots as police, hoodlums clash over ban of commercial motorcycles, tricycles in Lagos
Residents and commuters at Ijora-Badia area of Lagos State are running helter-skelter as hoodlums face police officers enforcing the ban of motorcycles and tricycles with fire arms.

However, following the ban, hoodlums at Ijora-Badia area of the state have trooped out to protest the ban by engaging in a face-to-face battle with officers of the law enforcement agency.
As at the time of filing this report, police officers are seen repelling the attacks of the area boys, shooting sporadically.
Commuters and passersby are also seen running for their dear lives.
In a bid to abate fears of possible increase in crime, the Lagos state government said commercial motorcycles and tricycles have been used by criminals to rob and terrorise innocent citizens, thus the ban of operations of duo in major areas of the state.
